Follow along as I spend a week in Guatemala! This travel destination was a spontaneous choice for me but I'm so excited for the trip! Before looking into this, I had not heard much about Guatemala or even knew what there was to see or do in Guatemala. I spent the last several weeks researching a lot and now I'm so excited for the week ahead! a

Here's an outline of my plans:
Saturday (3/16) - off to Guatemala City from Houston!
Sunday - Antigua, Guatemala
Monday - Hiking and camping on Mount Acatenango in Antigua to view Volcano Fuego erupt!
Tuesday - Hiking down, relaxing in Antigua
Wednesday - Heading to Lake Atitlan, Santa Cruz
Thursday - Exploring Lake Atitlan
Friday - Heading back to Antigua, last night!
Saturday (3/23) - bus to Guatemala City, then back to Houston!
